The 2013 Sugar Bush concept tried to bring a squirrel into the Bitcoin conversation; today, the community carries that playful spirit into Cardano while keeping the 2024 asset and its history intact.

What is SUGR?

SUGR is the existing Cardano native asset created on November 14, 2024. The current community revival is rebuilding around that same canonical asset.

Did a SUGR token exist in 2013?

No. The 2013 chapter was a Bitcoin-era meme and promotional idea involving Sugar Bush. The Cardano SUGR asset came later in 2024.

How do I know I have the correct SUGR?

Verify the complete policy ID: 766fce8055f39d40fcfc19721677b3deb2e7846950ae08dce757f1e7. Do not rely on the ticker alone.

Is the supply fixed?

The canonical SUGR asset was created with an original supply of 1,000,000,000 SUGR and 0 decimals. Always verify the canonical asset and current on-chain data rather than relying on third-party token descriptions.

What happened to the Sugar Factory?

The Sugar Factory is a legacy service and is not part of the revived SUGR platform. Factory Recovery is now open for reconciled legacy DiamondNuts holders through the official SUGR recovery portal.

How is the treasury controlled?

The revival treasury uses 2-of-3 multisig. Material movements are documented publicly so the blockchain can show what moved and the project records can explain why.
